Ulinzi Sports Complex will be the venue for the Harambee Starlets’ 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifier against Tunisia on February 21.
The return leg will take place in Tunisia on February 25.
Head coach Beldine Odemba discussed the team’s strategy for the home fixture, stressing the importance of an attacking approach.
“Tunisia is a strong team, but we are ready for the challenge. At home, we need to score and play aggressively to secure a positive result,” she said.
Odemba also shared her decision to include younger players in the squad. Currently, 26 players have joined the camp, with 10 international players expected to arrive once the FIFA international window opens.
Harambee Starlets will look to take advantage of their home crowd as they aim to build a strong lead before traveling to Tunisia for the return leg.
