Police in Nakuru have arrested a teenage man suspected of killing three people including a child in less than a month this year.
The officers from Baraka Police Station in Rongai, Nakuru have been tracking the 19-year-old Ezekiel Kwame Mwangi.
The serial killer is said to have defiled and later slayed five-year-old Ayuma Blessing before dumping her body in a maize plantation in Mwangaza area on July 14, 2024.
Then on August 7 in Kalyet he allegedly killed 34-year-old Mueni Mwalimu by striking her on the head with a blunt object and stabbing her in the stomach.
The following day, on August 8, 2024, at Mustard Seed in Kiamunyi, along the Nakuru-Eldoret Highway, Mwangi allegedly raped and murdered 28-year-old Moraa Mugambi by hitting her on the head with a blunt weapon.
The suspect is currently being held at Menengai Police Station undergoing processing pending arraignment.
