Harambee Stars faced a humiliating exit from the CHAN qualifiers at the hands of South Sudan.
After a disheartening 2-0 loss in the first leg, the Stars struggled in the return match, ultimately falling 3-1 on aggregate.
In a bid to turn the tide, head coach Engin Firat made significant changes, introducing 11 new players to the lineup.
However, despite a promising start with Austin Odhiambo scoring in the 10th minute, South Sudan equalized just before halftime, sealing Kenya’s fate.
With this defeat, South Sudan advances to face Rwanda in the next round, while Kenya, despite the loss, will still participate in the tournament as a co-host alongside Uganda and Tanzania.
