Popular radio duo Sheila Kwamboka, known as Kwambox, and Kerry Martin have officially announced their departure from Kiss 100 FM.

The two, who co-host The Morning Kiss breakfast show, confirmed that their final broadcast will air tomorrow.

Kwambox, who has spent 13 years in radio, described the move as the close of a significant chapter in her life.
“Stepping into the new you requires letting go of the old you! Tomorrow is the end of a very significant chapter in my life,” she shared. “For 13 years, radio has been my identity! It’s time for change!”

Martin, who joined the airwaves in 2014 on Homeboyz Radio before transitioning to Kiss 100, reflected on a fulfilling 11-year journey.

“As I hang up the mic tomorrow, I do it with a full heart. Grateful. Humbled. Ready,” he wrote. “I’ve had the honour of doing what I love, with people I love — friends who became family, and listeners who became part of my story.”

He hinted at new beginnings, saying, “This isn’t the end. It’s the beginning of something even bigger.”

The two reunited in May 2024 to host the weekday morning show on Kiss 100 from 6 am to 10 am, having previously worked together on Homeboyz Radio four years earlier.

Their departure follows closely on the heels of a significant restructuring at Radio Africa Group, which owns Kiss 100.

The company recently laid off 27 employees in what Group CEO Martin Khafafa described as one of the most difficult decisions in its history, citing high operational costs and ongoing economic pressures.
