A social media showdown erupted after Kameme FM presenter Muthoni wa Kirumba, popularly known as Wakirumba, clapped back at Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu over photos with her rumoured partner, Mugithi star Waithaka wa Jane.
The drama began when Karen Nyamu posted cozy photos of herself enjoying time with Waithaka at a local hangout, setting off a flurry of speculation and online chatter.
The images quickly made rounds on social media, fueling rumours of a budding romance between the two.
Not one to sit quietly, Wakirumba responded in kind by sharing a photo of herself with none other than Samidoh — her ex, father of her children, and a fellow Mugithi musician.
Many interpreted the move as a subtle but sharp jab at Nyamu, especially considering Samidoh’s own complicated history with the senator.
Interestingly, both women appeared unbothered as they were spotted together yesterday at an event hosted by Triza Karangu — the estranged wife of gospel artist Karangu Muraya — held at a Thika Road hotel.
