Nairobi city counter governor Johnson Sakaja, an enemy of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has refused to appear before the Senate to be testify against the latter.
Sakaja who has been fighting Gachagua had prepared what was termed a big scandal against the DP but surprisingly he disappeared before his day to stand as witness.
According to Gachagua’s lawyer Senior Counsel Paul Muite, Sakaja’s affidavit had very injurious allegations.
His lawyers said he was not appearing before the senate alongside two other witnesses; Peterson Jomo and Mercy Wanjau.
They said their affidavits would be expunged from the accusations against Gachagua.

It is whispered Sakaja who had been coaxed to lie and persecute Gachagua opted out after he witnessed how the impeachment motion mover MP Mwengi Mutuse was roasted by the DP’s lawyers.
Sakaja was also worried about his political future after it turned out the majority of city voters who are from Mt Kenya region are behind their son, waiting to deal with those persecuting him come 2027.
It is rumoured he Sakaja flew to North America, where he is attending a high-profile event in Mexico.
