This morning, police in Nairobi’s Kilimani area killed two suspected robbers and seized a handgun, machete, mobile phones, and a motorcycle.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, officers patrolling Tigoni Road near the Naivas store encountered a three-member gang actively engaged in a robbery.
In the shootout that followed, two suspects were killed, while a third escaped with gunshot wounds.
The victims who had just been robbed were able to identify the suspects through the recovered items.
A manhunt is currently underway for the fleeing robber.
