Police FC  D-day as they face Egypt’s Zamalek tomorrow

Kenya Police FC is set to face Egyptian giants Zamalek in the Confederation Cup second-round knockout stage tomorrow at Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi.

While Police are making their continental debut first appearance, Zamalek who are the defending champions will be chasing their third title.

The Police beat Ethiopian Coffee 1-0 last month to move to the next stage.

Head coach Antony “Modo” Kimani hopes six key players who were out of the country playing for Harambee Stars and South Sudan in 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifications will be available.

Midfielder Kenneth Muguna is serving a four-match ban slapped on him alongside other Gor Mahia players after they roughed up match referee during the match against Napsa Stars of Zambia.

Midfielder David ‘Messi’ Owino is recovering from a knee injury while defender Brian Musa is out nursing ankle injury.
