Controversial Pastor Victor Kanyari became rich from a small tithe that we can reveal he got the idea of from the Holy Bible.
Kanyari of the Salvation Healing Ministry asks his followers to part with mbegu ya Sh310 so as to bless them and allegedly heal and rescue them from problems.
Mbegu ya 310 came up from the Book of Malachi 3: 10. The verse talks about tithing and this gave Kanyari the idea to seek Sh310 tithe.
“The verse explains if you try me in this way you see doors and windows opening and blessings pouring into your life. This verse gave me the idea of mbegu ya 310” Kanyari explains.
The verse reads; “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it”.
The form two dropout says his faithful started sowing the 310 seed and that is why he has expansive cars, houses and clothes.
He became a household name after an investigative journalist exposed how he faked healing miracles. His wife Betty Bayo who is a gospel singer left him and so did some faithful.
