The Nairobi Hospital has announced key leadership changes within the Kenya Hospital Association (KHA), the body that manages the facility.
In a statement issued on Friday Dr. Chris Bichage, Chairman of the KHA Board of Management, confirmed the appointment of Felix Osano as the acting Chief Executive Officer.
This move follows the departure of James Nyamongo, whose tenure as CEO ended on December 6, 2024, when his contract expired. The notice stated, “Mr. James Nyamongo exited the organization as the Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya Hospital Association (KHA) / The Nairobi Hospital effective December 6, 2024, upon the expiry of his contract. We extend our gratitude to Mr. Nyamongo for his service and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”
Felix Osano, who previously held the position of Director of Supply Chain at the hospital, takes on the interim CEO role with over 17 years of experience across various sectors, including private equity, FMCG, and healthcare.
Osano is also a Doctoral Candidate in Strategic Management at the United States International University (USIU), where he holds an MBA.
“The Board wishes Mr. Osano success in his new role,” the statement concluded.
