Speaking in Ruiru on Friday, Githunguri MP Gathoni Wamuchomba stated that the people of Mount Kenya, and Kenyans in general, fully support Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and must be allowed to exercise their constitutional rights.
“We are tired of this government, and we will not allow anyone to use us anymore,” Wamuchomba declared.
She emphasized that the Deputy President deserves respect, highlighting that Gachagua secured the DP post because of his potential to unite the mountain region.
“The people of the Mount Kenya region should support Gachagua in his quest for unity and growth,” Wamuchomba urged.
Wamuchomba concluded by affirming the determination of the Mount Kenya people, saying, “We, the people of the mountain, are not stupid and will not allow anyone to disrespect Gachagua.”
