Kameme Fm morning show co-presenter Benson Gathungu who is popularly called Muthee Kiengei is trending again for all the wrong reason.
A video of the comedian-cum-bishop of Jesus Christ Compassion (JCM) Church discussing the relationship of singer Stivo Simple Boy and her ex-fiancé emerged online last night.
Kiengei was being interviewed on his church television by Lizz Wangui.
He described Vishy, born Purity Vishenwa, as ugly, not appealing.
“I wonder how people find the relationship of Stivo Simple Boy and Pritty Vishy amazing when Stivo is in Kibera struggling” he said amidst laughter from the show host.
Kiengei went on; “Vishy wants to be famous through her huge body. She is not a musician and she is not beautiful. She is not appealing”.
The clip went viral with many condemning Kiengei for body shaming.
Vishy in a response to Kiengei wrote; “Lets meet in your church on Sunday, I want you to tell me in front of your members and on that altar. I am used to being insulted and body shamed by other people but a whole bishoooop”.
She added; “You are among the bishops and pastors that makes people like us hate church and since you have given me a reason to be back, then I will come to you”.
She said she pitied women around Kiengei.
This morning a guilty Kiengei apologised to Vishy and even invited her to his church along eastern bypass.
“Prity Vishy I am really sorry and I take this moment to highly apologise for mentioning your name in a show where I went over board and mentioned you in a wrong way, Get a space in your heart to forgive me for addressing you in a wrong way. This will never happen in future, I take it as my mistake, Pole my sister na karibu sana JCM Church kanisa la watu wote”.
This comes barely a week after he insulted his followers when his wife Joyceline Ngaru was involved in an online spat with JCM church matron and businesswoman Damaris wa Dama Mobiles who is alleged to have secret affair with Kiengei.
