Tonight at 9pm the Junior Starlets will kick-off their first friendly match with Valencia CF Women at Alicante, Spain.
Today is their sixth day since in the Southwestern Europe nation where they are camping ahead of the Fifa U17 Women’s World Cup starting on October 16 in Dominican Republic.
The friendlies are intended to hone their skills ahead of the big tournament.

On Friday, the Starlets will face Portugal and on Monday next week challenge Intercity.
The Starlets midfielder Pearl Olesi shared her thoughts on the team’s experience.

“We’re really enjoying our time in Spain. The training has been intense, and we’re looking forward to these friendlies. Our goal is to get positive results and sharpen our skills as we prepare for the World Cup.”
The Junior Starlets will kick off World Cup group stage matches on October 18 against England.
They will face Korea DPR on October 20, and complete their group fixtures on October 24 against Mexico.
They are the first Kenyan national team to qualify for a World Cup.
