The Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) has scooped the Africa’s Leading Airport 2024 title at the prestigious World Travel Awards.
JKIA beat notable airports in South Africa and Morocco to emerge the best.
The award was received by Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) acting managing Director Henry Ogoye, JKIA Airport Manager Selina Gor, and General Manager, Marketing and Business Development Abraham Kiprutto.
Others present were KAA team representing JKIA, Diani Airport, and our Head Office during a colourful awards ceremony held at Diamonds Leisure Beach & Golf Resort in Diani Beach last night.
JKIA triumphed over notable nominees in this category, including:
- Cape Town International Airport, South Africa
- Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport, Morocco
- Julius Nyerere International Airport, Tanzania
- Kigali International Airport, Rwanda
- King Shaka International Airport, Durban, South Africa
- O.R. Tambo International Airport, South Africa
