Veteran journalist Eric Latiff has quickly transitioned into a new role at Nation Media Group’s NTV, just hours after announcing his departure from the embattled Standard Group.
With nearly three decades of experience in the media industry, Latiff’s move to Nation Media Group (NMG) represents a significant next step in his distinguished career.
Simaloi Dajom, NMG’s Head of Broadcasting, confirmed Latiff’s appointment on January 6, praising his vast expertise across television, radio, and digital media.
“Latiff is a highly respected media personality, recognized for his creativity, passion, and impressive track record. With over 27 years of experience, he brings invaluable knowledge and a commitment to the development of new media,” said Dajom.

He further noted that Latiff’s appointment aligns with NMG’s ongoing strategy to innovate and enhance its broadcast offerings while creating compelling multimedia content for its audience.

Before resigning, Latiff was the co-host of The Situation Room on Spice FM, where he worked alongside CT Muga and Ndu Okoh. Known for his sharp interviewing style, Latiff won the hearts of listeners over his five-year tenure.
In his farewell message, Latiff thanked his loyal fans for their steadfast support during his time with the Standard Group.
