After the Directorate of Criminal Investigations cleared him of any involvement in the death of Jeff Mwathi, mugithi singer DJ Fatxo embarked on fixing the dented reputation.
Fatxo was at the peak of his career when in February last year Mwathi fell from the former’s 10th apartment in Kasarani.
Being a person of interest in the death investigations, some friends, fans, fellow artists and other players in showbiz industry steered clear of him.
Now back in the limelight, Fatxo has vowed not to brook insults and gossip as he did then.
He started off with an emcee called Zaku who claimed his latest award was deceitfully earned.
In March Fatxo won, for the second consecutive year, the Mugithi Artist of the Year award by E360 Awards.

“In Kenya I am one of the people who have suffered extreme cyber bullying. I have been ignoring insults directed towards me but this person hurt me a lot” Fatxo said.
The singer who claimed his journey “To hell and back” hardened him called the emcee unprintable words and even roped in the latter’s relatives in the matter.
“You claim I bought the award. Do you mean I am the most loaded singer to be able to buy it? I worked hard to secure this award unlike others who ignored the contest” he said before launching into another vulgar rant.
The angry musician swore a callous counterattack against his foes henceforth.
