Car & General has launched a new dealer, Salaba Holdings, in Kitui, which will offer the company’s Piaggio three-wheelers and TVS motorcycles, along with service and parts for customers in the Eastern region.
As a leading distributor of tuk-tuks and motorcycles, Car & General pioneered the use of both as taxis in Kenya over 20 years ago.
In line with its commitment to innovation, the company expanded its offerings last year with the introduction of electric three-wheelers in Nairobi and Mombasa, aiming to contribute to cleaner transportation solutions and reduced operational costs.
The company’s e-mobility solutions are designed to reduce emissions and address the challenges of climate change.
Car & General also introduced the TVS HLX 125, a motorcycle featuring five gears, as part of its product expansion.
During the launch, Jones Musau, Regional Manager at Car & General, expressed the company’s dedication to customer satisfaction, stating, “C&G is committed to its mantra of making customers smile in every street, in every town with quality products and after-sales services.”
Musau emphasized the significant role of their two and three-wheelers, which provide reliable last-mile connectivity and create job opportunities, ultimately improving lives.
The opening of the Kitui dealership aligns with Car & General’s goal of bringing products and services closer to its customers.
