Three people have been confirmed dead following a plane crash on Friday afternoon in the Kwachocha area of Malindi, Kilifi County.
Eyewitnesses reported that the aircraft encountered technical difficulties before losing control and crashing, eventually bursting into flames.
Video footage circulating online showed wreckage scattered across the road, with parts of the plane engulfed in flames, highlighting the severity of the crash.
Nearby makuti structures also caught fire, but fire engines quickly arrived on the scene and brought the blaze under control.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash, and further details about the victims and the aircraft involved have not yet been released.
