Mara Sugar Football Club has announced the departure of their Technical Director, Bonface Ambani.
In a statement shared on their official Facebook page, the club said, “We hereby announce the end of our engagement with Technical Director Bonface Ambani. We thank him for his valuable contributions and wish him success as he moves on to new challenges.”
There has been no indication of any issues between the club management and the former Harambee Stars striker.
Ambani had been an active figure at the club, frequently sharing updates on team plans and potential transfers, suggesting a long-term commitment to the club’s vision.
Recently he revealed plans for the construction of a mini stadium in Enoosaen, highlighting the club’s forward-thinking approach.
He also played a key role in assembling a competitive squad that has impressed in their debut season in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League.
Under Ambani’s guidance, Mara Sugar is currently in second place, with 15 points—just two behind league leaders KCB after eight rounds of play.
