The High Court has granted Agnes Kalekye Nguna, Chairperson of the Media Owners Association of Kenya, the green light to assume the role of Managing Director at KBC.
Kalekye was originally appointed to the position earlier this year by former ICT Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo, but a court order had previously prevented her from taking over.

In September, the Board announced that Florence Migunde would serve as the acting Managing Director, succeeding Paul Macharia, whose term ended on September 19, 2024.

Kalekye has an extensive background in Kenya’s media sector, having previously served as both the Chairperson of the Media Owners Association and Chief Operating Officer at Radio Africa Group.
