The Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) has announced the appointment of Nisha Van Hoek, a Board Director and Chair of the Communication and PR Committee, as the new Co-Chair of Women’s Rugby.

She will work alongside John Kilonzo, the director of women’s rugby.

KRU emphasized Nisha’s extensive experience in communication and leadership, highlighting her commitment to advancing women in sports.

“Nisha is well-equipped to drive the growth and development of women’s rugby in Kenya,” the union stated.

This appointment reflects KRU’s dedication to enhancing women’s participation across all levels of the sport.

Together with Kilonzo, Nisha will engage stakeholders to expand opportunities for female athletes and ensure that Kenya’s women’s rugby teams achieve success on the global stage.
