Colonel Evans Oduma is the new chairman of the Kenya Air Force (KAF) Golf Club.
Oduma was introduced during the 4th edition of the KAF Commander’s Trophy tournament that took place at Moi Air Base.
KAF Commander Major General Fatuma Ahmed who is also the patron of the KAF Golf Club, presided over the event.
The tournament is part of the Ministry of Defence’s wellness program, designed to promote physical fitness and friendship among Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) personnel.
Maj Gen Ahmed emphasised the importance of golf as a key activity within the KDF’s fitness and wellness initiatives.
Maj Gen Eric Kinuthia, patron of the KDF Golfers Association (KDFGA) commended the players for their dedication.
While hailing leadership of Maj Gen Ahmed, Maj Gen Kinuthia highlighted how their collective efforts helped make the tournament a success.
The tournament featured players from various categories, including active, retired KDF officers and golfers from clubs in Nairobi and across the country.
