Citizen TV celebrated Swahili news anchor Mashirima Kapombe is mourning death of her mother.
The news anchor has shared that her mother has passed away on her social media platforms.
In a statement, Kapombe said that she is broken about the loss, praying that God grants her mother eternal peace.
“Broken. Eternal rest grant unto mum oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she Rest in peace. Amen,” she stated.
However, she has not disclosed the cause of her mother’s demise.
Three days earlier, Kapombe shared a photo of her mother and herself, saying that she was her whole world and her everything.
Condolence messages have started pouring in for the seasoned scribe.
