National Police service has lost two young officers within days in attacks suspected to have been carried out by civilian criminals.
On Saturday morning, Administration Police officer Constable Nicholas Koech, 30 was stabbed to death during a fight outside The Blackwood Site Lounge in Embakasi, Nairobi.
The officer who was based at Jogoo House bled to death at the parking. He had a deep cut on the right side of the neck.
On Monday, General Service Unit Constable Calvince Ouma Omondi, 24 was stabbed to death inside Manyatta slums in Kisumu.

Omondi who was based the Turkwel GSU camp in Turkana County sustained fatal injuries to the chest and neck.
He had visited his friends in the slums and while they escorted a female friend home in a car, he was attacked when thy stopped for one of his friends to answer a call of nature.
It is reported the attackers knew them. He was killed as he tried to defend on of his friends.
