In presence of media, Nairobi South MCA Waithera Chege and area business owners, the South B police station Deputy OCS while responding to cries of bar owners revealed they give him money to help them when arrested.
“When they are arrested, they ask for help from me and sometimes give me some cash. Why then report me to your MCA?” he said.
The senior officer revealed he has names of fellow junior officers taking Sh100 bribes.
Waithera decried that some police officers from Industrial Area station have been patrolling South B everyday collecting Sh100 from each bar.
