Kenyan airline Jambojet Limited plans to embark on daily flights from Mombasa to Zanzibar in September due to increase passenger demand.
The airline Managing Director Karanja Ndegwa however said during the low season, they will scale down flights to four times a week.
Jambojet which is a subsidiary company of Kenya Airways started operating on the route on July 1, flying four times per week.
The airline targets leisure and business travelers and it will cost 113 dollars (Sh14, 973) for a one-way air ticket between the two destinations.
Jambojet is using a Dash 8 Q400 aircraft with a capacity of between 78 to 82 passengers.
