Former Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has removed the title of CS from his X profile, shortly after President William Ruto announced the dissolution of the entire Cabinet on Thursday.
Kuria’s X profile now only features the Head of State Commendation Award he received from former President Mwai Kibaki. It reads, “Awarded HSC by President Mwai Kibaki, 12th December 2009.” However, his Facebook page still lists him as a Cabinet Minister.
Kuria was dismissed along with all other CSs, except Prime Cabinet Secretary and Foreign Affairs CS Musalia Mudavadi. A spot check on other CSs’ social profiles showed they had yet to make similar changes.
President Ruto stated that the decision to dissolve the Cabinet was made after reflecting on and listening to what Kenyans wanted.
